Having a robust Supplier Code of Conduct

The Ricoh Group Supplier Code of Conduct covers topics including human rights, environmental conservation and a clause on the freedom of association based on the International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention. We expect our suppliers to comply with the standard outlined in this policy.

Conducting regular supplier audits

We have created a CSR self-assessment system to help our suppliers implement a “plan, do, check, act” process. This ensures that all our suppliers meet the same standards regarding human rights, environmental conservation, health and safety, and other key areas. We can also support in any areas that require improvements to meet the standard.

Conflicts Minerals rule

Complying to the Conflicts Minerals rule

We support the Conflict Minerals rule adopted by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2012 which requires companies to disclose conflict minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo and surrounding countries. We are constantly working to improve transparency in our supply chain to ensure responsible mineral sourcing practices and conduct annual investigations into responsible mineral resource procurement in collaboration with our suppliers.
